In the 80s Ennio Tamburi changes. It frees itself from the grip of the present to dedicate itself exclusively to a painting with a temporal spatial momentum. A liquid and ethereal memory remains of the material - a well-known critic said in this regard of an "ideological" derivation from watercolour - collected in the delicate lightness of precious oriental papers that become the chosen support of ET's work, for which "paper becomes a place, a field of relationships", an area without margins of sensitivity.
